Anyone travelling off the beaten track in a camper knows that a full-size spare wheel can make all the difference on your next trip. Whether you are heading down a gravel track, crossing a rocky mountain pass or camping far from the nearest town – with the DSRT Spare Wheel Holder, your spare wheel is securely on board and exactly where you need it when it matters. At the same time, valuable storage space inside your vehicle remains free for your travel gear.

The spare wheel holer is designed for wheels up to 18 inches and can be individually adjusted to suit your spare wheel. Two sturdy wheel supports hold the wheel in place, while the adjustable centre mount is positioned to match the wheel hub. The spare wheel is securely fixed using the central star knob screw with cone. An additional safety cable with carabiner provides a secondary securing point. Both the main fixation and the additional safety device should be checked before and after every journey.

The DSRT Spare Wheel Holder is fully integrated into our modular rear carrier system. Thanks to the proven DSRT interchangeable hole pattern, you can position the carrier flexibly and adapt your setup whenever your next journey calls for something different. The spare wheel holder can easily be repositioned or exchanged for other DSRT modules – without permanently committing to one specific setup.

The spare wheel holder is compatible with the DSRT Rear Carrier Base Plate, Flex Carrier 2.0 and Multi-Mount Plate. All three rear carrier systems are E-type approved and do not require additional registration. The spare wheel holder mounted on the system is legally classified as cargo. This keeps the focus exactly where it belongs: on a flexible carrier system that adapts to your next adventure.

Made from aluminium and finished with a black powder coating, the spare wheel holder is designed for permanent outdoor use on your camper. With a weight of only approx. 3.5 kg, the system remains pleasantly lightweight.

Easy self-installation.

The DSRT Spare Wheel Holder is prepared for self-installation on your DSRT rear carrier system. The two wheel supports and the adjustable centre mount are attached via the existing interchangeable hole pattern using the supplied M8 screws and tightened to 25 Nm.
This keeps your spare wheel securely stored outside the vehicle, quickly accessible and ready for when your route continues beyond the paved road.
