DSRT BOX L – Large Storage Box for Camper Vans & Rear Carriers

Plenty of space for big adventures.

When a weekend trip turns into a longer journey, the amount of gear grows too. Camping equipment, tool recovery gear, shoes or anything else you need on the road – sooner or later, valuable storage space inside your camper becomes limited.

The DSRT BOX L moves that storage space outside. Measuring 50 × 44 × 180 cm, it makes full use of the available height at the rear of your camper and creates generous space for your travel and outdoor equipment. This leaves more room inside the vehicle for what really matters on the road: travelling, living and the next adventure.

Made from aluminium and finished with a black powder coating, the BOX L is designed for permanent outdoor use on your camper. It weighs approx. 32 kg and can carry up to 50 kg. The box is lockable and splash-proof, keeping your equipment protected and securely stored while you travel. More storage. More possibilities.

The BOX L does not just provide plenty of space on the inside. The Cargo Panel fitted as standard on the front also turns the outside of the box into part of your setup and creates additional mounting options for your gear.

Optional internal shelves allow you to organise the large interior and keep your equipment neatly arranged. A side Cargo Panel creates additional mounting options on the outside of the box. And with the optional roof rack, even the top of the BOX L can become part of your setup.

This means you are not only using the storage space inside the BOX L – almost the entire box becomes part of your modular travel Setup.

The BOX L remains part of our modular DSRT rear carrier system. It is mounted to the rear carrier using the proven DSRT interchangeable hole pattern and can be combined with additional DSRT modules to create your individual setup.

Due to its size, the BOX L is designed for use with the DSRT Base Carrier Plate and Flex Carrier 2.0. It is not suitable for the Multi-Mount Plate.

Both the Base Carrier Plate and Flex Carrier 2.0 are E-type approved and do not require additional registration. The BOX L mounted on the carrier is legally classified as cargo. This gives you plenty of additional storage without giving up the core idea behind our system: Your vehicle. Your setup. Your Adventure.

Self-installation to match your rear carrier system.

The DSRT BOX L can be installed on your DSRT rear carrier system yourself. The mounting process differs slightly depending on whether you are using the Flex Carrier 2.0 or the Base Carrier Plate With the Flex Carrier 2.0, additional Ø 9 mm holes are drilled through the rear panel of the BOX L for the additional mounting points. The mounting points on the Flex Carrier serve directly as a drilling template. The bolts are tightened to 25 Nm.

When using the Base Carrier Plate, an optional upper mounting bracket can also be fitted. It hooks over the top of the rear door and is positioned to match the BOX L.
